FAQs

The difference between the two comforter weights is the amount of filling. The lightweight option is significantly lighter & thinner at about 1/4th'' thick, and is the best option for hot sleepers.

The comforter is more of a three season weight, and for those who prefer a bit more loft & thickness at about 2''. Both of the comforters are filled with Outlast technology to assist with keeping you cool with proactive heat management.

Our comforters are designed to regulate your temperature even when placed inside a duvet cover. Feel free to use a duvet cover to get the finished look you are after as it will not have a drastic impact on the overall performance. However, we do recommend the Essential Duvet Cover for an added layer of Outlast® temperature-regulation and breathability.

Slumber Cloud products are designed to help manage heat and humidity build up. It is not an air conditioner with a set temperature degree, but it will react to your temperature all night long to reduce heat build up and manage temperature swings.

A comforter tends to be a bit heavier in weight than a blanket and although they often are used in a single layer, they can be used inside a duvet cover for a more finished look. Similar to a comforter, a duvet is a type of blanket that is generally lighter in weight and is used inside a duvet cover making it easy to care for.
